I was looking at my catalog of both new bitty twins dark and light haired. It seems the blond twins the girl has slightly opened mouth and the boy has the closed but in the burnette hair the boy has the slightly opened mouth and the girl's is closed. I wonder why they did this?

They switched the heads for the new twins. The girl has the boys face and vice versa.
I think Ann picked up on this.

Actually, I think it was Melissa who first noticed this.
We have the new twins and they are quite adored here, but "Nicholas" seems to be getting into a lot of trouble lately. I guess Diana (4-1/2) needs someone that she can boss around!
She said that he doesn't stay in his bed at night, he hit Bitty (shame!), threw his mashed potatoes at Diana (his mommy) and ran into the street. I found him taking a time out! His twin sister Katie, on the other hand is an angel.
Not quite sure where all this is coming from!???

Laurie's right...it was me...I noticed it before they were released. But then again I'm the nut who notices when a photo is inverted or Samantha's teeth are missing on a book cover! My eyes are good up close but for distance I can't even read an eye chart without my good ol' glasses. Most of us don't read all the posts so it can be easy to miss certain things that have already been posted...no hard feelings.
Nicholas is such a naughty boy! Good thing Diana has a good child to help balance out the naughtiness.

dianansmama, I thought your post was very funny. Maybe your daughter is living vicariously through Nicholas. Wishing she could be just a little naughty. It is very cute.

Yes, Lieu, we thought the same thing. As long as she's not acting out anything abusive (other than an all night long time out!) We just have never seen her do this with any other doll. But she did take Nicholas with her when running some errands with Daddy one day, guess she thought it was appropriate because they were going to Home Depot.
